Dallas, TX – The Grow the Game Initiative has announced the Colorado Avalanche as a regional partner. The Colorado Avalanche have announced their support of Colorado’s Grow the Game Initiative. Matt DeLuzio, Manager of Hockey Programs for the Colorado Avalanche stated, “The Grow the Game Initiative is helping grow the game of hockey across the region. It deepens the passion for the Avalanche brand and gives kids the opportunity to try the great game of hockey. We love being part of it!”
One key aspect of the partnership will be the branding of the state’s Grow the Game program to Colorado Avalanche Cares at: ColoradoAvalancheCares.com. The Avalanche’s support of the state’s Grow the Game Initiative includes providing ticket specials to each hockey family in Colorado as well as providing new hockey players the opportunity to be exposed to the game of hockey. As part of the Avalanche’s support they will be promoting the Grow the Game Initiative at events and at Colorado Avalanche games.

Future plans of the Colorado Avalanche and Grow the Game partnership include working together to develop Grow the Game manuals and resource booklets for parents, players, and volunteers across Colorado.
