Grow the Game Initiative Announces The St. Louis Blues as Regional Partner

The Grow the Game Initiative has announced the St Louis Blues as a regional partner. The Blues have announced their support of the regional Grow the Game Initiative. Todd Lambert Vice President of Ticket Sales for the St. Louis Blues stated, “The Grow the Game Initiative is helping grow interest and support for the exciting game of hockey across the region. Not only does this program increase the support of the Blues brand, it also allows children to be a part of the game of hockey and learn the many wonderful life lessons it teaches. We are excited to be a part of such a valuable mission.”

One key aspect of the partnership will be the branding of the region’s Grow the Game program as St. Louis Blues Youth Sports Scene at: BluesYouthSportsScene.com. The Blues’ support of the region’s Grow the Game Initiative includes providing ticket specials for hockey families as well as providing new hockey players the opportunity to be exposed to the game of hockey. As part of the Blues’ support they will be promoting the Grow the Game Initiative at events and at St. Louis Blues games.

Their involvement will continue to fuel a passion for hockey and help solidify the important lessons children learn when they are involved in hockey programs. We are extremely pleased to partner with the Blues to grow hockey across the region.” TK Stohlman, President of the Youth Sports Coalition stated.

Future plans of the St. Louis Blues and Grow the Game partnership include working together to develop Grow the Game manuals and resource booklets for parents, players, and volunteers across Missouri.
