Massachusetts Hockey has joined with the Boston Bruins, OneGoal and USA Hockey to create an opportunity on November 7, 2009, for families to come to a local rink and Try Hockey for Free! This free trial has been created specifically for children ages 4-9 years old who are interested in trying hockey for the first time.
The program coordinators encourage those who have access to a set of equipment to bring it. For those who don’t have equipment, please bring the following:
* Helmet
* A pair of gloves (they don’t need to be hockey gloves – mittens are fine)
* A parent (to complete the registration form)
* Skates (if possible – see the list below for rinks that can provide rentals)
* A smile
